Check out what's brewing at The Betsy! These scary good Cabernets both weigh in at 92 points. A perfect pairing for the end of the grilling season, Cabernet Sauvignon's tannins are a great match for smoked, roasted or plank presentations, mirroring the oak characteristics of the wine. For the non meat-eaters, try it with eggplant and mushrooms! Chef's kiss. Contrary to popular myth, Cab doesn't really play well with Chocolate, because most are simply too sweet for a dry red wine, but if you have some bitter, dark chocolate in the candy bag, you can give that a go. Let's see what the critics are saying;
Silver Ghost Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Silver Ghost is a full-bodied, rich and expressive Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from some of the finest vineyards in the Napa Valley. Deep in color, aromas of blueberry, crème de cassis and plum leap from the glass. On the palate Silver Ghost offers layers of red and black fruit intermingled with mocha, toast and a savory spice. The luxurious texture and depth continue through the long finish. Don't be afraid of this ghost! It's name comes from the founder's great-grandfather's love of a certain automobile - The Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.
92 Points, James Suckling, "Ripe, dark-fruited character with vanilla, licorice, walnuts and moist earth. Medium- to full-bodied with supple tannins. Juicy and sleek with a flavorful finish."

Ghost Block Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
The 2019 vintage embodies the beauty of Oakville, with lovely aromas of blackberry and ripe plum along with sultry tones of dusty earth and leather with hints of sweet bay leaf and baking spices. On the palate, alluring layers of cassis, boysenberry and black cherry are met with subtle notes of tobacco leaf. The refined, beautifully integrated tannins create a harmonious experience that fills out your palate completely ending with a long elegant finish that leaves you with one word...exceptional. Legend has it that George C. Yount, the founder of Yountville who planted the first grapevine in Napa Valley in 1839, was the ghost seen roaming the family vineyard. The very next morning, they went to trademark the name Ghost Block.
92 Points Wine Spectator, "Tilts to exotic in profile, with mulberry and boysenberry compote notes liberally scored with singed anise, fruitcake and Christmas pudding notes. A tarry coating on the finish adds more oomph, while the overall polished feel makes this accessible now. For fans of the style."
